AGENDA:
Each panelist will provide
an overview of Georgia Specific Valuation
Issues, to include:
- Standards of Value and their evolving
(and sometimes conflicting) legal
application in divorce cases and business
dispute situations.
Complying with the
reporting requirements of the courts and
government agencies
Other Georgia specific
issues
The session will be interactive
in nature.
SPEAKERS:
Daniel F. Diffley,
Alston & Bird LLP. Dan Diffley is a senior
associate in the litigation and trial practice
group of Alston & Bird, and concentrates on
complex commercial litigation, including real
estate litigation, commercial disputes and class
action defense. Mr. Diffley routinely litigates
matters concerning lost profits, business
valuation and damages issues, particularly while
representing businesses and property owners in
eminent domain cases and he has experience with
both testifying and non-testifying experts in
state and federal courts.
Bill Black, Managing Director, Analytical
Value LLC, Atlanta, Ga. Bill is a CPA, ABV,
CVA, and CFE. He has more than 20 years
experience working with lawyers in support of
litigation, including serving as an expert
witness in 7 divorce trials in Georgia so far
this year.
Robert J. Taylor IV, President, Taylor
Consulting Group, Inc. Mr. Taylor is the
Co-Founder and President of Taylor Consulting
Group, Inc., an Atlanta based consulting firm
providing financial advisory services to
businesses and business owners since 1988. Mr.
Taylor has over twenty-five years of experience
in the areas of business and equity interest
valuations, mergers and acquisitions, fairness
and compliance related work, financial
litigation services and assistance to clients in
strategic planning. |
